Cuddles Academy Childcare Enrollment Process
1. Enrollment Inquiry Form: First, please review the information on this website. If you feel that Cuddles Academy Childcare may be the right fit for your family, please fill out our enrollment inquiry form. Once I confirm that we have room for your little one, we will have a conversation by phone to begin getting to know each other and make sure that our program's structure can meet your needs and expectations. If we agree that your family and Cuddles Academy may be the right match, we will schedule a tour.
2. Tour of Cuddles Academy: Tours are typically scheduled at 4pm Monday-Friday. We ask that all adults, and the children to be cared for attend. This meeting typically lasts 30-60 minutes. During this time you will have the opportunity to see our indoor and outdoor environments. We will discuss in detail your family's needs, the structure offered at our childcare, and spend time getting to know each other. (This is an outdoor meeting with a short tour of the inside.)
3. Registration Fee & Start Date: A space at Cuddles Academy can be reserved no sooner than the day after our tour. This allows time for all of us to reflect on our meeting and ask any follow-up questions before agreeing upon care. We will also provide you with a PDF of our Contract and Handbook. Please review these before reserving a space. If we agree that your family's needs and Cuddles Academy are the right match, a $100 registration fee and a signed "Registration Fee & Enrollment" form confirming your child's start date are needed to hold the space for your family. At this time you will receive an enrollment packet to complete.
4. Enrollment Meeting: During our final meeting we will confirm that all paperwork is completed, discuss and sign Cuddles Academy's Contract and Handbook, and discuss our daily routines and procedures. *The payment for the first week of care is also due at this time. Plan for this appointment to last 1 hour. We do ask that all adults join this meeting.
Spaces are not guaranteed until all enrollment steps have been completed.
Note: if your family is expecting to receive subsidy these steps, including the registration fee and first week's payment, remain the same to secure your child's spot in our program. Once care has begun and the subsidy certification has been received, any overpayment of the first week will be credited to future week's payments. Please speak with your subsidy program to determine how much of your childcare payment they will cover. These amounts are set by the subsidy program, not our childcare business.
